    Cherry name plate

Made this for my daughter-in-law for part of her Christmas present , 3/4" cherry material and used Steve Good's pattern pinter for the pattern . I also soaked the wood after assembly in lemon oilfor about an hour and it brought out the deep luster and them I put about 5 light coats of laquer [ Satin } on it . Any comments are welcome .

Yes I have a comment. That is a REALLY nice looking name plate. It sure beats the heck out of the commercial versions. She is sure to love it.

Well the cat's out of the bag , my son and Daughter-in-law was over last night and the wife was showing her Haloween pictures on her camera and guess what her name plate picture popped up on the camera - well since she saw it - I went ahead and gave it to her - now she can put it on her desk at the bank . She loved it any way .......MB
