Boxed up

Been a couple of weeks since I've been in the shop due to being boxed up with this lousy head & chest cold...here's where I left off...needs another sanding and final coat and I'll flock the inside with some dark brown I have left over. Walnut, Maple and the lid is unknown to me, it's from a piece of luan I found at HD, no stain on any of it, just spray can lacquer... Not sure what it's called, but I made the handle as one would a cabriole{sp?} leg on the bandsaw, doing one cut then taping the scrap back on for the next cut.....apologies for the cheap looking photo's, hopefully santa will be nice this year and bring a better one....
Oh yeah, man, the shop sure felt cold, damp & lonely...

Very cool Ken I agree with Mohammad handle shouts hold me lid shouts lift me and the image of the handle says candy inside.:D:thumb:

Like the feet bit too. :thumb: They look real delicate against the backdrop of that thick bit of maple at the base. Not quiet sure that bit fits the rest though. But different folks have different takes.
