    Oddballs - Pretty cool woodworking.

    Not sure if anyone has seen these or not, but he's a friend of my wife and I thought it was pretty impressive. Heck, I have problems making any type of complex frame let alone doing an entire ball out of wood. Pretty cool.

    Those are some very interesting looking objects. Nice that' he's generous enough to actually show how it's done. But somehow I think skill and experience must play a large part in successfully completing one of those.

    I sure wouldn't sell them for less. When you consider the time and skill it takes to make one of those, the price doesn't seem so high. There are a number of people out there who wouldn't bat an eye at spending $1700 - $2000 for an artful home accessory like one of those balls. Out of our league for sure, but on the other hand, we have the stuff necessary to make one for ourselves, and the average lady buying one of these probably doesn't.
