Minor dilemma

Yesterday, i ordered several items from one of the major WW suppliers. The interesting situation occurred hen I included two items of water-borne finish in the order. The rep told me that, because I live in Ohio, they couldn't/wouldn't ship the items to me until next March (!). Apparently, they feel that Ohio can get cold enough at this time of year that the finishes might freeze, so they won't ship until freeze danger is over - next Spring.

Ironically, yesterday, when I placed (and cancelled) the order, it was 62° here.

I guess I'm going to have to find a local vendor for water-borne lacquer, now.

Anybody else encounter this problem?

The place I get my epoxy from warned me about the possibility of freezing during shipping. Than sent it anyways in the middle of December.:thumb::thumb:

Check with Target Coatings. I believe their stuff can stand a couple freeze cycles, and IMHO they have the best waterbase products, and the only real waterbase lacquer (with burn in).
