VENEER Maple table

Customer asked if I could repair a large burn mark on one half of the table. He had another company come out and they made it worse. I told him the only way to remove the burn was to strip the top. The burn was down through the clear coat into the wood. SO I stripped it and matched up the color tone then on applying the finish coat I get hundreds of fish eyes. So I sanded the top coat applied 2 piss coats of a product called lacover 30 which sealed in the impurities, now I'm sealing the table again and will follow up with a good sanding with 320 then clean coat.

so did you sand out the burn mark dave or just bleach it out?

I sanded till I could sand no more then bleached, bairly noticable.
