Spalted Red Elm Hollowform

This came from a storm downed tree in my yard. 6 1/2" tall x 4" diameter at the shoulders. Sanded to 1500 grit and Beall buffed.

Nice work Cody I love working with spalted wood you never know what is going to come of it. I have about four bowls in the finshing area will have pictures next week all spalted maple.Again great job.

Y'all are too kind but thanks for the comments.

The more I looked at that piece, the better I liked the proportions. So, I got out the calculator and divided the 4" width into the 6 1/2" height and it = 1.625. That's very close to the Golden Ratio of 1.618. Hmmmmm
