Until today, I was making due with a hand-me-down craftsman compressor that was about 35 years old, missing the handle, leaked air, but worked.
Well, I went into the local Sears store today, and saw they had 3 compressors that had been "returned" and couldn't be sold as "new". So I bought this one:
12 Gal, 1HP ... it will handle all the jobs I will need it for. It was easy enough to lift out of the truck by myself, and will work for doing finish work inside a house or in the garage.
Original price was $199, but I got it for $129 ... just couldn't pass it up
