    Eucalyptus Burl

Heres a small HV in resinous eucalyptus, flat spirals around 6.5x5.0" shown here with two coats of DO. Darn thing was so dry it took both coats and dried up in minutes. I kinda like the matt finish, although the intended recipient wants a gloss finish.

Talk the recipient into leaving it this way. It is beautiful. I, personal opinion, think gloss would cheapen this HF---make it look like any old pot.

As my wife's brother would have said, "That's one darn fool's opinion."

    Enjoy,

    Beautiful piece.

I like the finish as it is but I am sure that gloss will look fine too.

Morning Neil. I also believe that the piece looks perfect as is. I suggest showing it to the customer and maybe they willl like it. That way, if they are not swayed, then you can still put a gloss it.

Beautiful work, Neil. I really like the flat, unrounded spirals. Great piece of wood, too.
