SketchUp Drawing Exercise No. 2

Using the box from the warm up exercise, let's make it a little more fancy. If you need to redraw the original little box, here's the dimensioned drawing.

Clicking on the image should take you to a larger version of it.

Now add dovetails at the corners and a profile to the top of the box.

Well I have hit a snag..

I got the one set of lines to transfer to the side but now I have worked way to long and for some reason can't transfer the rest of the lines to the side and get a gace to grab ahold of...

I'm feeling left out, guys. I can't do Saturday classes because I am otherwise committed. So what did you learn that allows you to do dovetails on this box? Give me a list of commands you are using that I can study and make an attempt to draw this. I gather Follow Me is one of them. Others?

Carol, Follow me was used to do the round overs on the top. The Dove tails was done by pushing. Lay out the Pins on the end piece and push the waste away. Then do the same for the tails.

well here is the Dtails and i know i could have cut them by hand faster

as for commands carol its not commands that you want to hear in michigan anyway

its not as easy as it looked..
