    OUCH !!

When routing out small pieces on your router table, keep your fingers away from cope and style bits. I guess my reflexes are still ok, but not great, as i have a nice 1/4" carbide in print on my finger nail. Will probably loose the nail as it's right in the middle of the nail. Yes it did go through it.

    Damn, that hurts, doesn't it?

I ran a finger across a router bit, about 20 years ago. Not quite so lucky as you, but at least I kept the finger - after some careful stitching in the ER. It's amazing how many nerve endings there are in your fingertip!

Ouch, indeed. Glad to see it wasn't any worse than it was.

Wow! I know that hurts, but it could have been so much worse. Hope you have some good pain meds.
