    Mash Paddle for a Friend

My buddy who makes beer asked if I could make him a custom mash paddle. Once I figured out what one was, he and his crew supplied design ideas. We knocked it out pretty quick this morning. The headpiece is supposed to be a raven and the fretwork on the paddle are hops. His outfit is called Hopping Raven. Sugar maple with no finish per his instructions. It was explained that even mineral oil could arguably taint the batch.

Not bad Glenn, are they gonna let you sample some of the finished product ?
