I'm sure glad spiders don't bother me or anyone else in the family. Otherwise we would have had to find another home for George. George is a tarantula who had the run of the house for a few years.

To each his own. However, think about it. There is no poop to get rid of; you don't have to walk it; it pretty well finds its own food, you don't need a license for it, it does not get fleas or ticks, it does not smell, it does not require a vet, it does not require a bath, it does not take up much room, it does not require an exercise yard, they live about twice as long as a dog so you don't have to go through the mourning process very often, they don't lick your face, they don't have doggie breath, no one is going to trip over the food bowl, don't need to provide fresh water, plus a couple hundred other advantages.

Enjoy,

JimB

Oh yes, they are a blast to wear on your sweater when you go shopping, to the PTA, parent teacher meetings, Board meetings---just about anyplace where you want to make friends.
