    The magic of the internet

    Hi folks,

It has been a while since I've haunted the doorstep here. I got promoted at work around the beginning of the year But now I'm the guy responsible for hitting some pretty aggressive timelines and hiring a few more people onto the team.

As a result, my shop time has been cut much shorter than I care for and my online time even shorter. A few weeks ago LOML had me going through the attic for some things and I found some of my stuff from college. Back then, I was really into those collectible trading card games that were all the rage. When I stopped playing, I threw a bunch of the stuff in a box and it got packed away.

Now, thanks to the magic that is ebay and craigslist, I was able to turn this:

    Into this:

And there were still a few bucks left over for my Worksharp 3000 fund. When settle up on the rest of the auctions, I'll have one more tool to gloat over.
Measure with a micrometer, mark with chalk, cut with an axe.

Not a bad trade up Matt.

Yeah, something tells me you'll have more fun with the plane than a pack of trading cards.

    Hi Matt,

Good to hear from you again!

    Enjoy,

I like the plane better than the cards any old day.
First of all you have to be smarter than the machine.
