    Catalpa HF

I was hauling off leaves and limbs when I spied a couple chunks of Catalpa that for some reason I had tossed on the burn pile. So, I retrieved them, took a turning break and got this out of one of them.
It's 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" sanded to 1500, coated with BLO and then Beall buffed the next day (today).

Hey Cody what a save on the wood. That is a beauty. I like the form and finish.

Another fine example of turning firewood into something pretty. Nice save, Cody.
