    Bloodwood Hollowform

    Here is one I did a couple of weekends ago. Its made of a bloodwood bowl and a birdseye maple top. I was practicing getting the bowl walls thin. Bloodwood is pretty nice to work with other than the red lathe left over.

    Nice stuff, Jim. I've not turned any bloodwood, but I've used some in flatwork and you're right about it making everything red. Almost as bad as padauk.

    Great looking stuff Jim. I have never worked with bloodwood either. I have heard it smells pretty good when turning. Nice job.
