Well while at Century Mill Lumber on Friday i saw this log
So just had to look inside

This is a natural edge slabbed Padauk slabs were 8 ft long and the one i looked at was at least 32 inches. The girth was way wider.
Btw my choice was not the one shown with tape measure took that pic while someone else was looking at the log.
Worked out my choice would cost me approx $400. I dont think thats bad at all for 5/4 slab like this. Absolutely spectacular.
Then there was some really thick and long chocolate slabs 12 ft long at least. .
