I cut my 3/4 inch dadoes with a half inch router bit. Then without moving the guide/fence, I drop in a spacer and cut again. 23/32 nominal ply thickness is 0.718, so a .22 inch spacer nominally does the job, but I have spacers for .19, .21, .23, .25, etc. For example some of my plywood comes at 19 mm which is 0.748, so a full .25 spacer works for it. And yes, plywood varies a lot from sheet to sheet, and even sometimes within a sheet. (If you are really anal, a glue line should be about .001 on each side)
