congrats to my son

My 22 year old son is in school to become a puter graphics tech. This is his 2nd year and he was picked to go to states for a design he made in school. There was only 5 kids picked in his field to attend.That's state wide. Well he didn't get gold or 1st, but he did come in a respectable 3rd place. i thought that's not bad for a kid that has never had a lot of self confidence. He's also been asked to go to nationals as a judge.

Just had to share that as a proud dad.

well done and be sure to let him know that all who have heard are proud of him,, self confidence is a major factor in ones life and needs to be strengthened always..

Thanks all, he's just about 1 hr away as i type this. Just texted us and now we better go get him. May take him out to a good stake house for supper if he's up for it.

I'll let him read this when he gets here, so he knows there's a bunch of great folks that care, besides his old mom and dad. :thumb:

Not sure if you seen him when you were here, but he's about 6' 2" and 190 lbs, so he can put some food away. :rofl:

I think Carol saw him when she was here as i had to get his help moving them huge slabs out of the shop and into her van.

Yep that was him then. Now he has short hair and is a bit older. Getting a little thin up there just like my dad, oldest bro, and youngest bro. I guess that just runs in part of the family.
