What kind of puppy is this?

What kind of dog is this? Anyone know? I see it listed on Craigslist as having been found along roadside.

I would suggest Heinz (57 varieties) mongrel, but looking at his face in the first photo, I'd say he has a bit of pit bull in him. With love and training he'll probably be a great dog.

Well, we really dont want a pit bull. There seems to be alot of them around and we just dont want to go there. I understand that they CAN be good dogs but we prefer a different breed.

I don't see any pit bull in that one either but like Larry said perhaps Jack Russel or some other kind of terrier.

No, I don't think that's pit bull either, google some pics and you'll see no resemblance. I think he's mostly jack russell myself.

Add another Jack Russel w/no pit bull vote here. The head doesn't look boxy enough to be a pit bull, in my opinion.

My Lab-Bull is the most gentle, well behaved dog that I have ever shared my home with. There was a time that Pitts were nanny dogs kept to watch and protect children.

Bad owners have really given them a bad name.
