    Thanks Mohammad, no power carving at all, it is a technique that for an unkown reason it eludes me. I have a dremel and some burrs but I'm not comfortable using them

    Thanks Tom. It is almost life size, the background panel measures 91x55cm ( 35.8 x 21.6")

    I think you know how i feel about this piece. Has the recipient seen it yet? Toni is there any finish on it? Just thinking of things like dust etc in the air over time and the need to wipe it down? You really are an wood artist. I prefer a black background.

    Oh. My. Goodness. That is absolutely stunning work, Toni.

    I have no idea how a person can do that type of carving, but it's obvious that you have it figured out. This is a masterpiece, both artistically and technically.
