I've not tried it, but I know a lot of turners have used it and like it.

I purchased the small container a few months ago from supplier in Toronto. I had read rave reviews on the WTF on many wood turning sites. I have tried to apply it three times since, but can not get the finish to even compare to Wipe On Poly. I get streaks in the finish even after almost saturating the piece. I am leaning towards the fact that the shipment may have got frozen on its way from Wisc. to Toronto in January. Will take it back, and maybe get an exchange.

I have used it for several months now and like it a lot. It finishes quickly. I can put on 10 to 12 coats in 30 to 40 minutes with aid of a hair dryer on low heat. Keep hair dryer moving or it will bubble the finish. I like to airbrush it as well as wipe on. The two posts on Norfolk Island pine the first post is Woodturners finish and the second post the Southwest style is finished with woodturners finish. I also ordered some Target Coatings EM9000 water based poly and some EM6000 water based lacquer.

Bernie, borroe your wife's hair dryer. Doesn't get as hot and covers a wider area.
