    Volunteer your time

I recently started giving up 1 afternoon per week, just 4 short hour to help out at a food bank. The need is great especially in the present economics times. Here is a link to a short TV piece about the one I work at. LINK I am posting this because a number of my fellow wood workers could also give a few hours a week to help out locally. I know at the one I work at they never have enough help.

We belong to the "Pease Greeters" Pease AFB sees a lot of returning service members from overseas. Quite a few have a long way to travel before they finally get home to their families and have no one to meet them when they first arrive back in the good old USA, so we meet them at the airport and welcome then home.
