flea markets ect....

I don't know about the rest of the country but I can tell you that with us the numbers at the gate of the event are relevant to the amount we sell. :thumb:
As for what sells best at any of them is food.:thumb:
Hay that's it I am going to start making wooden food:doh::doh::thumb::thumb: At least it's high in fiber:thumb:

Two big crafts shows in our town each year. Hundreds of tables and about half of them jewelry, especially necklaces. Not much of it any good. The woodworking guys seem to get a lot of visitors but few sales. Same with turners although cheap stuff will sell a little. Gaudily decorated t-shirts and sweat shirts sell well. Beats me why.

Yeah, that was my experience... I had a permanent booth at a local "Public Market" that was supposed to be a higher end craft market... lots of jewelry, junk, Chinese imports and such... If I could spend the "OOHS" and "AAHS" I was getting I would have been rich, but cash was hard to come by... flea markets aren't good for pepper mills, bowls and pens....:(
