    A little pen turning

    This is the 5th pen I have turned. It is purpleheart and maple. It's nice having a project that can be completed so quickly!

    Hey, that is neat!

    I like the contrast in the woods!

    Pens are great, kind of the instant coffee of turning, but much tastier!

    Which reminds me, I have a couple dozen or so kits sitting around, I've got to get around to some.......

    oh boy !! wait til joan sees this post i think it will really set her on fire to get going and get set up ...... i could be mistaken but i think that choice is her two favorite woods in the whole world

    oh yeah i almost forgot awesome job you did making that pen

    Very attractive. Some segmented pens tend to look busy and glitzy. Yours is just plain handsome.
