    moving away from spirals

    Brown Mall and Gidgee decanter/box/not sure

    The Mallee burl being a bit flat I ended up with something akin to a ships decanter struggled a bit with the stopper/lid to get altogether.

    dimensions 6x6 finished with DO two coats and several coats of Wipe-on-Poly. Buffed after the DO and then after the final Poly coat.

    Well I guess if you aren't going to do the spiral, you might as well knock it out of the park, like this!

    Now that's a hollow form suitable for a forest genie.
