    Thanks Frank, that's one of the biggest frustrations I have with turning pens. That little ridge on one side of the pen where it joins the metal parts. I'll have to give this way a try!

    Only way I do it anymore. Even had John Goodin send me some for Slims...those are the worst!

    Sorry Frank, I must of missed this. I've wondered why some pens come out slightly oval. Great tutorial, I'll give it a try

    This is the only time I ever use a mandrel for pen turning; when I am finishing a pen.
