Haha this bear steak talk kinda reminds me of an occasion here where i got taken hook line and sinker. We went to a place near Tobermorie On while camping at Bruce Peninsula federal camp grounds.
Anyhow me being all caught up in old west and Indian stuff i see this Indian place with T Pees and all. They offering "genuine" Aboriginal campsite meal and Indian Chief doing campfire story.
At the same time this all coincided with full moon and youngest sons birthday.
So Rob all excited to give family and friends the real deal experience books for the whole crew.
Well on the menu was " bison burgers" yup you guessed straight from the box of a local grocery store brand. Whats more cooked on a gas bbq by a couple of "white" rednecks is dirty t shirts. Not an aboriginal around to be seen no campfire and to add insult to the whole "authentic" meal thing they served pasta salad with it.
They got a piece of my tongue at the office after but i always laugh at myself for getting taken so easily.

Rob, sounds like the only thing "authentic" about it was the money you paid them. Sometimes you just can't win.

I'm packed. Leaving in the AM. Logging of for a few days, so if anybody needs me, you'll need to use the phone!
