Yesterday I got each of the drawers cut down to size. Ran them through the table saw (using an older saw blade I keep on hand for when I have to cut through brads), smacked off the waste from the drawer side, cleaned them up with a chisel and glued/nailed them back up. Other than twice as many nail holes, you'd not know that they were cut-down.

I spent the rest of the afternoon installing them. Next is to make up door and drawer frames. I'm planning to glue up the drawer frames as one big panel, then cut them each out to keep a nice grain pattern between all.

Today I finished up setting the tile around the base of the tub where it meets the floor, will grout it tomorrow and get everything caulked this week. Also planning to pickup some base trim tomorrow and get of the trim painted and ready to install. I may also sand down the base cabinets and try to seal them with a couple of coats of the de-waxed shellac.

With spring starting up, been busy and not quite finished up the vanity door and drawer fronts, so spent the day getting them milled out.

The 1/4" cherry ply had some good figure, so spent some time and probably had some extra waste, but so far got some decent book matching done between the left and right panels. The left and right side panels are being glued up as two larger panels, then I'll split them in to individual panels.

I do see a shoulder plane in my future, got the tenons a bit tight, but the newly sharpened bench plane and chisels did the job.

After I got my DIY Shoulder/Chisel plane built, I cleaned up some of the tenons, frames dry fitted, and got the rest of the panels cut out. Still need to glue everything up.

Thank you fellas. I'll be doing glue-ups over the next few nights, hopefully sanding and getting finish on this weekend after some test fitting. Also need to build the hair dryer/curling iron pull-out, may knock that out tonight.

Had a little free time last night, so brought down the linen closet doors and drawer fronts. They fit well, but will probably be putting one of those newly sharpened planes to use to even out the gaps on the top couple of drawers

Now that I have the TS sled, I was able to cut out all my drawer panels. Also finished fitting the doors and cutting bevels on them to close correctly. Just need to get some sanding done this week and get some finish on them.

Chipping away at it. Between this and the CNC and the new yard tools, it looks like you've had a productive weekend.
