A while ago I posted about a shop made circular saw guide I put together for cutting sheet goods.

It worked, but was a little difficult to adjust and sometimes would bind in the cut a bit.

So, I saw Kreg came out with a new jig and I ordered it a few months ago when it first came out.

I finally got around to pulling it out and setting it up and I can tell you this thing works great.

Now, you aren't going to get a perfectly jointed edge from this, but for breaking down sheet goods, it just works well.

I haven't had it bind up at all. The only issue i've had is at the very end of the cut you need to make sure you have good 'follow through' to make sure you finish the cut up straight and don't twist it off at the end.

For me, it makes it a lot easier to break down sheet goods using this than to try and manhandle it on my table saw or make sure a track is set up exactly square.

Just my 2 pennies, no affiliation, yadda yadda yadda.

Obligatory Picture.
