    yup, and i have seen them dive straight down with wings back and make a very loud splash and come out with what they were after from very high up..something to see in person for sure.. you would think they would break there wings but they seem to do just fine..

    in the first one he took he couldnt miss with that many on shore but the last one was hugh!!

    the flat fish was a volunteer, so they knew where to point the camera...

    Just got back from the Salmon River/Frank Church Wilderness area and watched a pair feed their young all week. Very impressive bird and what a wonderful area to spend the week.
