Any other wanna be cowboys out there watching the Stampede

Just wondering as i sit here watching the Chuck Wagon races at the Calgary Stampede if there is any other members following any of the Stampede.

Some famtastic teams of horses and riders...boy they can make those wagons fly and to see the intense focus in rider and horse eyes its something else.
This is most most definitely on my long bucket list.
Man i should have been born under the rockies and on a ranch

Yes...Not watching either, but watching the cowboy single action shooting championship recaps.

Been a while, I remember going to Calgary when I was a kid sometime in the mid 80's. We road tripped over from B.C. in a friends van.

I can say from experience that you don't get near that much excitement and a lot more hard work and long cold days on a real ranch Although I did have one horse that gave a guaranteed rodeo everytime I got on her (I'd end up in the dust nowdays, but at 15 I could ride ok).
