Burgers that is...smoked burgers

These are about 3/4" thick and seasoned with McCormick Montreal Steak seasoning. I season them and put a slight dimple in the center of each patty to help keep the moisture in.

Smoke for 45 minutes at 225*, no flipping, just let them cook...the results are...

I haven't smoked a burger, not sure I want to wait that long... I get the grill really hot and throw them on... if they bounce then that's their turning.... I do smoke briskets ever so often, but that's usually an all night job... I start them about 10 pm so we can eat by noon or 2 pm next day....
