As you all know by now i don't do many bowls. Well needed something to do that was quick and simple, so a bowl it was. needed a brake from the carved piece i'm working on. DNW 9 3/4x 3, finish is just multi coats lacquar, knocked down with steelwool, and will wax and buff in a few days after it has cured a while.Click image for larger version.

Looks good from here, Steve. I have no idea what the wood is, but it's got some cool things going on.

Nice Steve. Sometimes simple goes a long way. This one works just fine.

Good looking bowl. Simple but yet has beauty.

Nice job on the tough grain change areas. Good form, no flats there.

I'll second Vaughns question on the type of wood?

Good solid bowl bud...if it holds M&M's...it's worth the effort!
