    goblet for the state fair

well, i finally got the last of the 4 projects done for the state fair. i was going to add captive rings to it too, but it didn't work out too good. the goblet is hard maple, the celtic knot is walnut. i added a pic of the inside of the bowl to show that the knot is on the inside too. it's been a while since i turned a goblet, so i'm a bit on the rusty side.

Cool entry, I wouldn't know where to begin with the knot, but I like it best of/with everything at the fair Dan!!!

we'll see guys. i have to take all of the items to the fair sunday morning. i won't find out how they did until the fair opens on the 23rd. if they place, i'm happy, where they place is the icing on the cake (plus the check for $4, $6, or $8)
