Movable shelving units

Surprised someone hasn't converted their unused mobile carts for something like this...

Sharon has been wanting to do this for years.

Dunno what the shipping would be, but they really aren't a whole lot more expensive than shelving from the borg.

Brilliant idea had not seen that before. Thanks that ciuld be real handy for small shops. Cant see why one could not diy the track idea if one already has shelves.

This could be a great solution for our storage needs at new temp home.

If I used them it would mean I would have to keep things picked up and stacked neatly in the garage so there would be room for them to move.... my garage is a car port with a gravel floor and with a storage unit at the back... there is a total of 6 square foot of open space on the floor(which is particularly level) probably in 2 foot square segments...everything has to be moved around to get to anything... stuff is piled on the shelves, on the floor, hanging from the ceiling, hanging on the walls and you risk your life anytime you enter - which will be at your own risk - and it's dark in there as I've never gotten around to putting lights in.... My shop is almost as bad.

Cool idea though.
