    Dad passed away tonight.

A blessing because all that was left was a great deal of indignity.

    Carol,

I am so sorry for your loss. However, I really do understand the dignity part. I have absolutely no desire to live beyond the time when I have an acceptable body and brain. I do not want a good brain trapped in a useless body---That would be Hell on earth. A good body with a useless brain is an extreme stress on family. It is also stress on healthcare money that could be used better for someone who is cognizant.
