    beads of courage pail (box)

This is my donation to the BOC project. We're getting a bunch of us over at WTA to do these. Maple burl, 6" to bottom of trolls fet. 7" at the widest.Teak oil ,with multi coats rattle can poly, buffed and waxed. Wanted to carve a teddy bear, but messed it up,so the wife had the troll sitting around, and said would this work.Thought it looks ok so this will be it.All C&C welcome.

Can't say I love the troll... but really nice job on the turning. Its also a gorgeous piece of wood which certainly doesn't hurt.

I'm not familiar with the "beads of courage" but I'm sure it must be a worthy cause.
Anyway, that is sure a beautiful donation. Great job Steve

Not a fan of the troll either

Bob the beads of courage is a national effert to help childern with cancer. These will hopefully bring a smile to a young child. The program gives the childern beads for every treatment they go through, and these boxes are to keep there beads in.

That's gonna make some kid very happy, Steve. (And I'm betting the kid will love the troll.)
