    Navajo rug loom plans.

Got in my congregation looking for plans for one that will do a 2' x 4' rug. Any hints? I have had no time to search for him and I really would like to help him out, as he can be bit prickly. Always is good when a prickly person 'owes ya'.

I think they're about the simplest form of loom you can make.

A quick search turns up a couple of ideas. I like the first one because it sort of highlights the simplicity

I liked this line in the instructions in the second link:

It is best if these plans are kept away from people who build a lot of things out of wood because they almost always want to “improve” the design through some feat of over-engineering.

    Also from the second link:
Getting this stuff is really fun, because the hardware store people always want to know what the heck you’re building. While you’re out, get some Neosporin and Band-aids, just in case.

    And from the first:
The lines in my rug wander around a bit. A lot of rum and tequila went into this.
