    city folk and their trees

A fellow that I've sold a little lumber to in the past got in contact with me a couple of weeks ago wanting to know if I could saw a log for him. He said it was at a friend of his house and he told him it was a white oak. We worked out the details and he told me when he cut it he'd be back in touch. He called last night and told me he had it down and it wasn't what his friend thought. When he got there it turned out to be a maple. He said it looked like it was a curly log. He got one 30" dia. by 9 foot log. He's supposed to drop it off Wednesday. I can't wait!

He was laughing and said these dang "city folk" and their trees!
