it's official!!!!!!!!!!

it took a little longer due to the background check. since one of my references was out for the week, i had to give them more references. that, and they were checking out my schooling as a programmer with the school i went to better than 30 years ago. oh well, back to work, with plenty of time left over for woodworking.

See that's just crazy in my opinion. Schooling is great and all, but the test of if you can do the job is doing the job and 30 years in programming is long enough ago that there isn't a heck of a lot relevant in the day-to-day left.
