I like to keep a photo file of all the pieces Ive built and the last or final spot where they will rest and be used.

so a year ago, I took the bedroom that was being tossed into the trash from my bil, recut and reglued some pieces, and built a coffee table for my neice who rented an apt up at college.
I told her I want a picture of the table in its place for my album.

this is why when you build things, you best make sure they are sturdy.

a coffee table put together in 30 minutes with pocket screws. Anyone want to question the strength of pocket screws?1.jpg

these girls have a great sense of humor, I love the picture.3.jpg

Looks like that table isn't just a piece of furniture. It's a part of her life. That's a winner any day of the week. ;)

i will bet the farm that it will go with her after school and continue to be used allen with many fond memories:):thumb:

I believe after the next 2 years when they all finish up, the table will be passed on to the lower class that will need pieces to furnish their apts.
My daughters 2 pieces up near buffalo are still in use today, one still in a college apt, and one has been taken home by one of her friends and used by the brother.
Im happy to see the furniture get used by anyone.

my niece, the one I built the bed for, is the one sitting at the table smiling.
