I was unaware of this site & picked it up from a reference by Vaughn of the now dying WTA site.
This is my first post here, & is a small Ancient NZ Kauri arch with a matching lid, it stands around 5 1/2" tall, 7" wide & the wing is 2 1/2" across.
I made this a while back & decided to keep it.
Any & all comments more than welcome, thanks for your time to look
    Pete

    Welcome Pete.

Very nice arched box. Finial is simple yet elegant. I made one of those a while back. Mine wasn't as nice as yours though.

Great piece, Pete. Nicely arced and a finial that adds to and doesn't detract from the form

I remember seeing your mug from over there. That sure is a nice piece, I have made a few of those, not as nice and elegant as yours. People respond is "what is it and what is it used for"

edit: people here are really nice and the forum runs great, not a lot of turning going on but that can change.
