    Thank goodness for sound engineers...

    Check this guy out, he's doing autotune karoke, which uses a midi to change his voice to the right key. They cut back to his actual voice once in a while to show the difference...

    I really need to work on getting that working in my studio. I could seriously use it...

    Okay, makes me want to know how many of those "singers" out there can really sing??!!

    Oh well, at least he knows how to stay with the music, I couldn't even do that!

    Here's a somewhat mediocre recording of three of my good friends performing at a local bistro. They are using a harmonizer on some of the vocals, but they aren't relying on it to keep things in tune. They do good three-part harmonies without the electronics, but the harmonizer lets them add two or three more parts.

    One night, though, the harmonizer went on the fritz, and all of a sudden it sounded like a couple of the parts were being sung by Donald Duck on helium.
