drawer construction?

On the side peices, I lay them down on the router table and set it up to where the edgae of the dt is about 1/4" in from the edge of the board and about half the thickness of the drawer side materail. Then I use my sled and run them threw. Once the drawer is assembled with the bottom peice of ply the back is held in place and can not move. Yes I do glue it into place aslo.
 
how do you construct your drawers, specifically the backs of them and why you do it that way?

I'm a pretty lousy flatwork carpenter and the few shop drawers I've made in my shop, I simply butted the backs to the sides, glued the joints and pinned them with nails or screws.. they work, but aren't near as pretty as what you other guys do.

I did cut a slot in the sides for the bottoms to slide into and have framed all around in place.
