    My First Zen

Gold Rollerball with a piece of Maple Burl sanded to 400x, buffed with extra fine steel wool, burnished with turned shavings and applied 6 coats of Satin MINAX OMWB Polyurethane.

Not too sure about this kit as it is really very plain looking.
You will notice there are no threads to post the cap as it is magnetic.

Nice job and finish on the pen. I'm like you not to excited over the style but you never know someone will want it.

Les your work is excellent as usual but not a big fan of the pen style.

Not sure how you could improve on the turning, first rate as always. I think my problem with the pen style is the abrupt sharp transition from the wood to the brass that close to the nib. Its to sharp and imho looks uncomfortable to use as I think the grasping point is right around the sharp edge (?true?).

Not a Zen fan Les, many buyers are though! My only thought would be to keep the barrel a little slimmer...inline with the fittings maybe? Finish and wood choice are amazing!!
