Pens for a pen swap!

Those are cool pens there Mack....
I've made two or three of those, but they took forever to sell...
Hi Chuck; I know what you mean!

I happen to be very lucky in that respect. An 86 year old Judge of our Ontario Court system took a liking to one of my first Panache pens. It was turned from a cherry burl such as this one. He bought it, then wondered aloud if I had any in walnut.

Well, just returning from the 2012 Spanish Tour de Wood, I had some beautiful walnut crotch. He bought 3 of those with the gold plating.

The ones I'm showing here would most likely be with me a long time, especially in the Rhodium plating. He only likes the brass colour as he calls it!

Great-looking pens, Mack. I like the looks of the Panache kit, but can see why it wouldn't be a big seller...just doesn't look like a comfortable pen to use very much.

PITH (Pen in the Hat) swap. Particular to a pen turning forum. (IAP)Put a pen in, take a pen out! Names are drawn from a hat now, because of our distances apart!

And it is a ton of fun!! Sometimes there are guidelines and specific materials to be used! I'm ready for the Bash swap!
