a bit of excitement in front...

i was about to hit the sack, turned off the desk light, and saw white light blinking on the building next door. looked out front, and there were 7 squads from 2 different departments, paramedic truck, and tow truck. across the hall neighbor and i watched for about a half hour. funny thing, no sirens, must have wanted to not disturb people's sleep.

I've noticed that they tend not to use the sirens at night here unless they are on the main road in traffic. Makes sense, you can't miss the blinking lights as easily as the day time.
