    Artistry in Wood

    Today is a pretty good day. I entered four items in the Boise artistry in Wood competition and got two first-place and one third-place.Click image for larger version.

    it was that michigan oak that got you the first prize rennie well maybe you helped too good for you now others will know of your work and the jobs will come rolling in.

    What were the different categories? Any idea how many people came through? Did you get to leave out some business cards...

    I like the clock best, but the side table is a close second.

    I'm kinda partial to the table as well, but all three look good to me.

    There were about 30 categories times 3 skill levels, in 5 divisions. I won't know how many people till tomorrow when the show is over. I was going to put out some cards, but it looked like there were none others out so thought it might be bad form. I'll look again tomorrow.

    I'm sure the "imported" wood had something to do with it.
