Miter gauge giving me the Creeps!

Haven't done it myself, but I know some guys glue sandpaper to the auxiliary fence to make it more "grippy".

I've run into the same kind of slipping when I'm cutting angles and trying to hold the piece by hand. As much as possible, I use a stop block on my miter gauge fence to keep the piece from moving. (One of the reasons I like the Incra 1000.) If I'm not using the stop block, I either clamp the piece or just hold it tighter and cut a bit slower. If you try to push the wood through the blade too fast, it pulls (or pushes) the piece and makes the creep worse.

First the assumptions:
- you get good cuts without the sac-fence
- you milled the sac-fence to be have true square and parallel surfaces

If this is true and the deviation is introduced with the sac-fence then there are three specific things I can offer:
- Apply sandpaper to the sac-fence to prevent creep assuming that is the cause
- Assure the miter bar is riding consistently in the slot for the duration of the cut path assuming that is the cause
- Build a small tablesaw sled
