    This is what it's about

    Went fishing with the boy today. We were looking for crappie but didn't have much luck, it was windy as heck. He landed this beast with a minner (that's minnow for you northern folk). Being the true fisherman, when we got home he told his mom it was at least 12".

    When I'm fishing with the grandsons, we measure from the left eye to the right eye by way of the tail. That one looks like 14" to me.
